Transplanted Specimen Japanese Maples

Transplanted Specimen Japanese Maples are a specialty of Jaycee Newman's.  Transplanted trees have already gone through the shock of the initial digging and the new roots are already developing.  This also means we can dig year round. We stock some of the largest pieces available in some rare and sought after cultivars.  Here a just a few examples.

Acer p. ‘Aka Shigitatsu sawa’

Reticulated leaf with evolving color through the seasons.

Acer p. ‘Beni Maiko’

Leaf color varies from branch to branch and leaf to leaf, producing a psychedelic tie-dye effect.

Acer p. ‘Katsura’

Golden spring leaves eventually develop to chartreuse with red/orange tinged edges.  These leaves are unlike anything else in the world of Japanese Maples.

Leaf color varies from branch to branch and leaf to leaf, producing a psychedelic tie-dye effect.
